Post Barbeque/ Wedding

Post Barbeque/ Wedding

Today is the toughest day of the diet. I started well, had a good time this morning watching different weight loss success stories on You tube with my hubby. I decided, let me be smart and eat salad before I leave the house, so I am full and I will not be hungry.

Outing #1 was a friend's house barbeque. Shee was so happy to see my husband and I. Then she showed me the food. I told her am on diet. Just around that time someone went to grab barbeque chicken and ribs. My eyes followed them as I watched her put the chicken in her mouth. She expressed how good it taste. A little chicken will not hurt i said. You know the rest of the story.

Outing #2: Went to a friend's daughter's wedding. I know some people at the party. Four people in making me feel special went to get me food. You guessed it, four plates of food on my table.

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION.

Yes chicken and plantain went in.

Ok,  I failed on the diet today. Tomorrow is another day to get back on track.

Sorry Sherry!!! ( Sherry is my health coach)

Hello Everyone. This is a no shame blog. That is why I accept at the beginning that I am fat. The shame is having a problem and not accepting it. Being in denial is a pain. Like alcoholic anonymous  where people who have drinking problem accept their problem. That puts them on the road to recovery.

I have two big challenges tomorrow.

1. Memorial day barbeque. I have an invitation to a big barbeque tomorrow

2. I have a wedding invitation tomorrow. Lots of food in both places. What am I going to do?

I will keep you posted.

The blog of a lady who has decided to take charge of her weight and the time is now.

My journey to take charge of my life

My name is Abiola Saba and I am FAT. What? You probably asked. Yes, I am obese. I am 5' 7'  and weigh 193IBS.

How did I get here, I asked myself. I used to be fit and healthy. The fast life. Breakfast on the go, fast food, fast food, food on the run. This is so wretched. The really funny thing is that I still see myself fit. Yet, I go up 13 stairs and start panting like I ran the olympics.

The time is Now. Join me as I begin the journey to good health.
